Dr Eimear O’ Connell is the Principal Dentist at Bite Dentistry. 

Dr O’ Connell completed her dental degree im 1998 at University of Edinburgh.  She then went on to recieve her MFGDP and FFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons London and her Diploma of Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. 

Dr O’Connell has managed her own Dentist in Edinburgh since 1996 and has over  20 years expierience. She has been using the modern technology in her practise like Cerec since 2008 and believes the increased success of her practice has much to do with the implementation of digital dentistry. In 2014 she won a UK business award from Software of Excellence as well as winning Best Overall Practice in Scotland and in 2015 her practice won Best Patient Care award. 

Dr O’ Connells excellance had not gone unoticed and amazingly she is the first woman to ever be president elect of the Association of Dental Implantology and works hard to promote women in dentistry in Scotland, England and Wales, as well as this she was also the first female dentist in the UK to gain her implant diploma from The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Helen Young is a IMplant Surgeon at Bite Dentistry. 

Dr Young  qualified in 1979 from Dundee in 1979 and spent 6 years in the hospital service carrying out Oral and Maxillo-Facial work at various centres in the UK. 

Keeping up her surgical interest, Dr Young also had a part time position at Edinburgh Dental School and Hospital, before joining the newly opened Boots private practice in Edinburgh in 2001 and has remained in private practice since. This environment is ideally suited to carrying out more advanced restorative and cosmetic work along with developing her implant skills. Dr Young is able to perform all aspects of dentistry and has undertaken further training in several areas. Her interests lie in cosmetic restorative work and oral and implant surgery.
