I am only rating the facility here. Although modern and new, the room was very basic and small - not even a TV. Also there wasn't much privacy as there were construction workers on the opposite building. I was still 'high' on anaesthetic so I couldn't even word it to ask for the blinds to be closed.

From initial consultation to post operative care the service has been professional courteous and flexible toy needs

Overall it was good. However, the pre-assessment team when they contact me they provided misleading information and as a result had to contact the consultant’s secretary who spoke to them to correct them regarding my appointment preparation etc. I did receive an apology for it. It should be noted that pre-assessment seem to follow a script rather than listening to the patient or looking at reason why they are coming eg for a simple procedure or a complex operation. I strongly believe that a level of training is required and procedures updated before contacting patient’s to arrange a preassessment
