He has also contributed to chapters in major surgical textbooks in colon and rectal surgery. He is regularly invited to present at international colorectal society meetings such as the American College of Surgeons Meetings. He trains postgraduates in his field and teaches on the National Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Training Programme.
