He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians since 2007 and was awarded a Fellowship with the European Society of Cardiology in 2016. He is the chair of the section of Sports Cardiology and Exercise of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC). Dr Papadakis' many years of clinical experience and his role in education make him an expert in his field.

Dr Papadakis is credited with over 80 publications in scientific peer-reviewed journals and numerous presentations in national and international conferences. He has contributed to a number of projects as an expert, including the creation of the Sports Cardiology core curriculum, the creation of the international ECG criteria for an athlete’s evaluation and exercise recommendations in individuals with heart disease. In 2016 he launched a novel MSc programme in Sports Cardiology, the first postgraduate qualification of its kind.

Dr Lo Giudice currently works in London at the Hammersmith Hospital since 2017, in the Cardiology department and he is part of the Pulmonary Hypertension National service team.
