The doctor and assistants were wonderful but the appointment was 45 minutes late

I recently had to undergo a mastectomy and reconstruction with Professor Mokbel following my breast cancer diagnosis and am delighted with the result . The surgery took place promptly and I have minimal scaring ( the smallest half moon shape under my nipple) , unbelievably ! The most surprising thing was the almost complete lack of pain after 24 hours bar a little discomfort and how incredibly my reconstructed breast matches with the other side . As well as his expertise and professionalism I found Professor Mokbel to be kind and empathetic and after my follow up appointments I have come away feeling reassured and informed. An all round positive experience which has helped no end during a difficult time coming to terms with the shock of breast cancer.

I could not wish for a better result and experience. Mr Kasem is an excellent, professional and very experienced consultant. He is a safe practitioner and treats his patients as unique individuals. His expertise and knowledge guide my treatment throughout. I was well informed about my treatment, and every step was taken to support decisions made. After the surgery I was consulted 3 times for wound care and general check up within the package price. No other surgeon will look after you and check your recovery process like Mr Kasem. He listened to my needs and the results of my surgery is splendid 👌. I strongly advise to consider your treatment and surgery with Mr Kasem.

Excellent treatment ,aftercare and follow ups. Everybody went out of their way to make the experience as easy as possible, including spotlessly clean premises.

Dr. Patani took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, asking insightful questions to better understand my medical history and current symptoms. He made sure to address all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of competent medical care.

I could not rate Mr Thakur anything other than excellent. He had to deliver some upsetting news to me initially and he did this with such great empathy and care. Everything was explained very clearly to me and any questions I had were always answered. I feel extremely lucky to have had Mr Thakur as my consultant, I can honestly say I don't think I've ever met a nicer consultant and would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

From the first moment of my breast cancer diagnosis I was rest assured with Dr Jajini as my doctor. She was patient and explained everything to me in detail. She was very honest about what surgery can and cannot achieve and what would the best approach for me be. She handled my case with care and understanding of all my worries. I am left with an aesthetically pleasing outcome and continuous reassurance for the future

He told me that I had cancer in a clear and sympathetic manner. His explanation made me feel positive and I have always understood the treatment that I would receive.

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!
