Dr. Wan is a highly qualified and experiences doctor in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, with almost 30 years of experience in this field. His interest and passion grew when a family member used Chinese Medicine to treat insomnia, using herbal medicine.

He began practicing after he completed his Bachelor's degree, since 1985. His expertise gained him the Deputy Physician-In-Chief position at the Internal Medicine department at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University in 1999. Dr. Wan decided to then move to the UK in 2002. Over the last 14 years he has demonstrated tremendous expertise in Birmingham and London. Dr. Wan aims to combat some of the most common conditions in the UK such as stress, anxiety and sleep disorders, with specific treatment strategies in this area.

One of Dr. Wan's hobbies is gardening. He also enjoys reading, especially about Chinese Medicine. He strives to keep up to date with the scientific community through non-stop studying. He believes one cannot be a good practioner without ongoing learning. 

He not only enjoys studying, but also teaching. Having worked as an Associate Chief Physician at the First Teaching Hospital in Tianjin University, he trained Third Year and Final Year Students studying Chinese Medicine. Dr Chaunnanau Yi specialises in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He has 35 years of clinical experience and 17 years of experience in the UK. He worked in Swindon, Chester and Birmingham. In his early career, he worked in emergency and internal medicine. Before he moved to the UK in 2002, he worked in the Beijing Shunyi Hospital as a senior doctor in the department of integrated traditional and Western medicine. 

He treats men and women with common conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, stress, skin problems, and many more. He has a specialist interest in seeing patients with IBS, impotence, painful periods, infertility, arthritis. 

Dr Yi has also been involved in research and academia. Dr Yi was a part-time teacher for 2 years at the Shunyi Hospital's Health College where he taught traditional diagnostic techniques and medical English. In the UK, he has taught acupuncture for 5 years at the Almond Academy in Swindon.

Dr Yi always tries to learn as much as possible about the patient's medical history and the circumstances of their health imbalances and then tailors the treatment accordingly. He teaches his patients as he considers education as a part of his job.
