Mr Sai Kolli is a Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon who specialises in corneal and lens replacement and external eye and cataract surgery. He graduated from Cambridge University with First-Class honours, and went on to complete his surgical training at sites across the country including the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital. During his training, Mr Kolli achieved a PhD in corneal stem cell biology and its utility in therapeutic medicine. He has vast experience in this field, having undertaken three fellowships in cornea and external eye diseases and a furhter fellowship in refractive and cataract surgery.

Upon completing his specialist training, Mr Kolli undertook locum consultant posts across multiple hospitals in London before taking up his current Consultant position at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust based in the renowned Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. In this position, Mr Kolli is responsible for providing the tertiary referral corneal service.

Mr Kolli's main areas of expertise are in complex cataract surgery, refractive surgery and all aspects of corneal and external eye disease including all forms of corneal transplantation and anterior segment reconstructions. He has published, lectured and taught extensively in his field.

Mr Anandan completed the higher surgical training in Ophthalmology at the Oxford rotation in December 2008. In this position, he gained comprehensive general ophthalmic training.

He specialised in Cornea, Anterior Segment and Glaucoma during his fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia between January 2007 and January 2008. During the fellowship, he gained considerable experience in corneal transplantation, ocular surface disease management, refractive laser surgery, trabeculectomies and glaucoma tube surgery.
