About Dr. Yarub Al Shammary
Dr Yarub Al Shammary is an Oral-Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantology Specialist based in Dubai, UAE. He currently practises at HMRT Polyclinic and Canadian Specialist Hospital.
After completing his dental degree, he completed a higher diploma in Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery at Baghdad University. He then completed a 5 year Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specializations and was awarded a PhD. To further his expertise, Dr Al Shammary completed several advanced courses in different areas of dentistry, including: laser therapy, ozone therapy, implantology, cosmetic dentistry and oral oncology.
His main areas of interest include cranio-facial and maxillary trauma, impacted teeth, bone grafts and simple and complex dental implant procedures. He also has proven experience performing several oral procedures, including jaw surgery, sinus lift and orbital reconstructive surgery. He has performed over 1000 dental implant procedures and over 300 surgical repair procedures for facial injuries and trauma.
Dr Al Shammary has published several scientific papers in his field of expertise. He also supervises and advises junior clinicians and is a Lecturer in the Oral-Maxillofacial Surgical Department at the College of Dentistry, Iraq.

Dr. Yarub is simply the best. I had been postponing my wisdom tooth removal for months because I was scared. I messaged him at 4 AM during the Eid holidays, and he replied right away. He even came from home that afternoon just for my extraction. The whole procedure took less than 10 minutes and was completely smooth. His team was also incredibly friendly, professional, and supportive through the whole process. If u’re nervous abt removing your wisdom teeth, don't think twice go to Dr. Yarub. Highly recommended!
Got my wisdom teeth removed and it was close to the nerve. Dr. Yarub removed them with no complications. He is very knowledgeable! The receptionist Mimi is super sweet and helpful, she is great.
