My experience was horrible with Dr Wadah. We scheduled a circumcision for my son, 8 weeks old, at 5.30 pm. We reached on time and the doctor did not come in until 6.15 pm. The surgery took place at close to 6.50 pm. We put the suppository in our child at 5 pm so the effect died down during the surgery because of the delay on the doctor's end. The doctor seemed visibly upset and annoyed about having so many surgeries scheduled on the same day. He had completed 2 surgeries before my child's procedure and my child was the third one after which two more circumcisions were scheduled. During the surgery, my son was in a lot of pain as the suppository did not work. We were asked to wait for 15 minutes after the surgery so that the doctor can check if all is okay. When the doctor checked my baby after 15 minutes, his dressing had come apart and he was bleeding uncontrollably. We got really scared and the doctor rushed him back into the procedure room to fix whatever had gone wrong. By this time, the anesthesia given to my son had worn off and he was traumatized yelling and screaming on top of his voice. He reperformed some of the procedure to stop the bleeding and hastily put on the dressing. We were not given a proper explanation as to what went wrong and why we had to go in again. He said the child was crying and moving too much which is why the dressing came apart (hard to believe). He had a lot of blood loss. We were asked to remove the dressing 24 hours later on Sunday night. We were unable to do so because it was placed so tightly against his skin and was extremely dry with blood wounds on the bandaid. We had to come into emergency to Prime Hospital to have it removed. Another surgeon Dr. Hasan removed it through applying lots of saline solution - something we would have never been able to do at home with no training or experience. My child was howling and crying in pain after the band aid was removed. I will never consult with this doctor again. My child is so traumatized from the experience and has been cranky since two days. We can't even tell if the surgery was performed well and if his private parts have healed even though we were told it is fine. The hospital should really look into this matter because my child's life is on the line. We will take action if we observe anything abnormalities in the days to come during his recovery.
