Dr Salam Yanek is an experienced consultant radiation oncologist at the Neuro Spinal Hospital in Dubai. She has over 22 years of experience in the field and has expertise in a range of precision radiation systems and equipment such as stereotactic brain and body radiation, respiratory gating for breast treatment, Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and 3D radiotherapy. Dr Yanek is an expert in her field and has published a number of papers regarding the effectiveness of radiation systems.

Dr Yanek has expertise in a range of areas including external beam, radiosurgery, and intravascular brachytherapy. She is American Board-certified and earned her medical degree from the University of Aleppo. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Western Reserve Care System in Ohio before completing her residency in radiation oncology at a number of institutes. Dr Yanek gained certification from the American Board in Radiation Therapy in 2006 and spent ten years at a leading oncology center in the USA before joining the Neuro Spinal Hospital.
