Dr. Qasim Aref Qasem is a skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 23 years of experience. He holds a place in the Specialist Register of both the Irish and British Medical Councils. Dr Qasem has achieved fellowship status in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, and he is also certified as a refractive surgeon by the Royal College of Opthalmologist in London the United Kingdom and a holder of the European Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Qasem has been a practising Consultant Ophthalmologist in Dubai, UAE since 2012, having previously held positions at several prestigious hospitals in the United Kingdom and Ireland for more than 12 years. His specialisation extends to Vitreoretinal eye surgery, where he is highly skilled in performing Combined sutureless Phaco Vitrectomy procedures, particularly tailored for Diabetic patients.
