Dr Prasad Kothari has been a registered ENT (ear, nose, and throat) surgeon since 2007, following the completion of his higher training at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London. He is a consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon at Mediclinic Parkview and treats all adult and paediatric ENT conditions, with a special interest in head and neck oncology including cancer of the thyroid. Dr Kothari has recently moved to Dubai having worked in the UK NHS for 25 years. His prior posts have included consultant ENT at Lister Hospital and clinical director of ENT at Luton & Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust where he achieved the Clinical Excellence award for his work. In addition, for 8 years, Dr Kothari has led head and neck cancer surgery for the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire cancer network.

• Head and neck cancer
• Benign neck lumps
• Thyroid and salivary gland disorders/surgery
• Sinus procedures including balloon sinuplasty
• Voice disorders
• Paediatric and adult tonsil, grommets, and adenoid surgery

Having trained in dentistry, Dr Kothari also has advantageous skills in treating conditions affecting the mouth and face and also treats swallowing disorders, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnoea. He works closely with speech therapists and dieticians to provide holistic care to patients.

Dr Kothari has published articles in numerous international journals and presented his work all over the world. He takes a great interest in education and is a lecturer for ENT trainees, an MBBS examiner for University College London, and an FRCS examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.

Dr Kothari is a member of the British Association of Head & Neck Oncologists, ENT UK, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Away from clinical practice, Dr Kothari enjoys listening to classical music, reading, and keeping fit by playing badminton and cricket.
