Dr. Nishanth obtained his Medical Degree from Trivandrum Medical College, India, in 2013. He then moved to the United States for further specialized training and obtained a Doctoral degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Massachusetts, USA. He further completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship training in Nephrology at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, USA.

He is Dual American Board Certified with American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Certification in Internal Medicine and American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Certification in Nephrology.

He is accredited by the European Section and Board of Nephrology, the European Renal Association, the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, and the European Renal Association for passing the European Specialty Examination in Nephrology (ESENeph).

Additionally, he is certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist (AHSCP-CHS). He also completed Part I of the MRCP, Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK).
