Dr Mohamed El Toukhy specialises in pain management and anesthesia and is the acute and chronic pain management lead at King's College Hospital London, Dubai. Dr El Toukhy also leads the Pain Department at Valiant Clinic and Hospital and is the chairman for anaesthesia and critical care.

Dr El Toukhy qualified in 1995, from Alexandria University, Egypt. He trained first in Critical Care Medicine before developing a special interest in pain medicine and pursuing a fellowship in pain medicine at Queen Alexandria Hospital and Southampton University Hospital. During this time, he trained further in interventional pain medicine and now has expertise in neuromodulation and radiofrequency denervation.
