Dr Maurizio Persico is a specialist plastic surgeon well-known in Dubai especially for Breast Enlargement, Mastopexy and Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty).

Dr. Persico was born in Italy, in a small town called Terracina and obtained a Medicine and Surgery at "La Sapienza" University of Rome in 1988. After this, between 1988 and 1993 he undertook his training in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the S.Eugenio Hospital in the II University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He completed this training in July 1993, receiving the Specialist Certificate in Plastic Surgery.

Once qualified, Mr. Persico spent the following 5 years completing his training in different disciplines like Emergency, Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Burn Injuries. After this, between 1998 and 2004 he worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the biggest Burn Injuries Centre in Italy: S.Eugenio Hospital in Rome.

Mr. Persico has performed numerous plastic surgery procedures in different private hospitals and at his own clinic in Rome, making him highly skilled and well practiced; giving great outcomes to patients. He also has attended many meetings and international training courses in plastic and aesthetic surgery; always striving to better his knowledge and practice.

In 2002 Dr Persico began undertaking some cosmetic surgical procedures in the UK and he started working in the country for few days a month, and after 2 years he relocated to the UK to continue his work full time.

Mr. Persico's excellence was recognised during his time in the UK, and he was given the post of Clinical Director of The Cosmetic Clinic in Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester.

In 2016, Mr Persico joined Bella Roma Medical & Aesthetic Surgery Center in Dubai as full-time cosmetic and plastic surgeon, where he is currently working.
