Dr Kassem El Houcheimi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 26 years in the field of general orthopaedics, including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgery, hand surgery, and upper extremity surgery. He sees private patients at Clemenceau Hospital, Dubai.

Dr. El Houcheimi earned his primary medical qualification at the American University of Beruit, Lebanon, after which he undertook his residency during the Lebanese war and gained knowledge and expertise on the treatment of a wide variety of injuries. He then undertook further training in the UK under the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt program, where he gained further knowledge in joint replacement and hand surgery. Dr El Houcheimi gained fellowships in paediatric orthopaedics and upper extremity surgery. During his orthopaedic paediatrics, he gained expertise in osteoporosis, leg-lengthening, congenital hip deformities, complex fractures and lower extremity deformities.

Upon completion, he was appointed Consultant and practice privately in Lebanon for 25 years. During this time in Lebanon, Dr. El Houcheimi performed numerous surgeries including hip and knee arthroscopies, reconstructive orthopaedic surgery and hip replacement. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
