Dr Dhaval Harshadhbhai Sagala is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medeor 24x7 Hospital Dubai. He completed his medical degree at B. J. Medical College, India in 2002 and a Master's degree in Orthopaedic Surgery at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, India in 2007.

He completed three postdoctoral fellowships, one in Knee Arthroscopy & Adult Joint Reconstruction at Sancheti Hospital Pune, one in Shoulder & Elbow Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at Konkuk University, South Korea and another in Shoulder & Knee Arthroscopy in Singapore.

Before beginning his current role at Medeor 24x7 Hospital Dubai, Dr Sagala held several posts as a Consultant and Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon, including specialist roles in Shoulder and Arthroscopy Surgery. He worked in several hospitals in India, including Sterling Hospital, CIMS Hospital and Chetan Orthopaedic Hospital before moving to Dubai and working at Belhoul Speciality Hospital.

Dr Sagala has expertise in all areas of general orthopaedic surgery including the following:

• Elbow, ankle and wrist sports-related injuries (e.g. meniscal and ACL tears)
• Acute and chronic lower back, neck and knee pain
• Disc diseases
• Osteoporosis
• Osteoarthritis

He also has several years of experience performing surgical procedures to treat these conditions, such as: joint reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder replacement. He also provides non-surgical treatments for osteoarthritis-related chronic knee pain.
