Dr. Bernard Lallemand is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Upper Limb (Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist), Hand – Peripheral Nerve surgery – Sports Injuries.

After obtaining his medical degree, he completed his training in Traumatology and Orthopaedics in 2005 at the University of Liège, Belgium.
He then practised for more than 10 years in Luxembourg at the European Hand Institute, where he focused on developing expertise in the management of emergencies and elective surgery of the Upper Limb and Hand, and peripheral nerves.
After being a visiting surgeon in 2015 for two years, he decided to join Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Qatar where he developed a unit that is the reference in the region for the treatment of sports injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand. 
He then moved to Dubai in 2019 where he currently works at Mediclinic Parkview.

Dr Lallemand has performed more than 15,000 surgeries in the Europe and Middle East region. He is a member of many International Societies such as: American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand, and the International Wrist Arthroscopy Society. Dr Lallemand has published more than 50 journal articles and book chapters and has presented more than 200 lectures, conferences, workshops and instructional courses worldwide.
