Dr Alireza Taghikhani is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon at Iranian Hospital Dubai. He also sees patients at Medcare Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital and Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital. He completed his MD at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 1995. He then became qualified as a Neurosurgeon at the same university in 2000. Prior to his current position at Iranian Hospital Dubai, Dr Taghikhani practiced as a Neurosurgeon in Iran at Kasra Hospital and Asia General Hospital, before moving to the UAE. After moving to the UAE, he practiced at Emirates Specialty Hospital and Belhoul Specialty Hospital.

Dr Taghikhani sees patients suffering with the following neurological conditions:

• Brain aneurysm
• Trigeminal neuralgia
• Lower back pain
• Neck pain

He has two decades of experience in the surgical management and treatment of these conditions, including cervical discectomy, spinal fusion surgery, microvascular decompression, transsphenoidal surgery and brain surgery.
