Dr Ahmed Elshenoufy is a Consultant Urologist with over 27 years of experience. He is based in Sharjah, UAE and currently practices at Medcare Hospital Sharjah.

He completed his MBBCh (1993), MSc (1998) and MD Urology (2004)degrees at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He then worked at a number of hospitals in Egypt before he moved to Sharjah to practice at Medcare Hospital. He became a member of the European Board of Urology in 2005 after passing European board exam.

Dr Elshenoufy has expertise in general urology, prostatic diseases, male infertility, Overactive bladder, urological oncology and female oncology and typically sees and treats patients with the following urological conditions:

He is also well skilled in performing specialised procedures including: transrectal and abdominopelvic urological ultrasound, flexible endoscopic stone treatment, laser lithotripsy, endoscopic prostate resection and renal transplant therapy.
