Ms. Fadwa Lkorchy is a licensed Psychologist and Personality Dimensions Trainer. She specializes in helping families- including children, adolescents and via family therapy, as well as individuals with relational issues, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and issues with life/work balance. She has over 20 years' experience in crisis management and intervention. In addition, she is also a professional trainer for public and private institutions with services ranging from stress reduction to performance optimization, helping people be as effective as possible in both their personal and working lives.
Fadwa strongly believes in engaging clients in their own healing, creating healing from within is the strongest way to move forward. She works to equip her clients with the necessary skills and strategies to cope and to work through any issues. With such an extensive educational background, clinical experience and multicultural experience, she has unique and effective approach to counselling. She ensures that each treatment plan is tailored to the individual, recognising that everyone's mental health journey is different. She works with her clients to build on their existing strengths to overcome mental and behavioral challenges to improve emotional resilience and well-being.
Ms. Lkorchy trained at Johns Hopkins University in the USA; a particularly prominent institution. She has over seventeen years working with the international community in Washington DC and in Dubai and was one of the founding members of Counselling Arabia Conference, a leading organization that promotes counselling and wellbeing in the Middle East.
She has many treatment modalities to offer her clients, but her particular areas of expertise are EMDR, infidelity, PTSD, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and trauma.
