Dr Marc Najjar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon currently based at the private hospital Medcare Hospital in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Michael is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon working at Neuro Spinal Hospital in Dubai Science Park, Dubai. He has more than 27 years of experience, having spent the last 20 years in the United Kingdom. He has specialist interests in scoliosis surgery, spinal tumours, spinal fractures, neck pain and back pain.

Mr Michael qualified in 1991 from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India, Completed a post graduate degree in Orthopaedics (DNB) before moving to the UK where he undertook his basic and higher surgical training. He went on to obtain a whole range of qualifications, including a master’s degree (M.Med.Sci. Trauma) and Spine fellowship and he was also awarded the prestigious William Gissane Memorial Prize.

Upon completion of his training he worked as a Consultant Paediatric and Adult Spinal Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospital and was also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. This allowed him to teach and train the future generation of aspiring spinal surgeons.
