Dr Mahaveer Mehta Medical Center is owned by clinical and cosmetic dermatologist Dr Maheever Mehta who has been in private practice since 1990. Procedures carried out at the clinic include skin laser surgery, acne scar treatment, non-surgical skin tightening, photo facial treatment, IPL, cellulite treatment, and pico laser for tattoo removal. Dr Mehta is a keen advocate of health awareness and works to reduce the incidence of skin cancer by prevention, early diagnosis, and prompt treatment.

Dr Mehta has vast experience in dermatology, having previously been the chairman of the department of dermatology at the Qatar armed forces medical unit as well as the chairman of dermatology at the International Hospital Bahrain. He is well known in the field for his use of lasers and for introducing this technology to the Middle East. He regularly speaks at international dermatology and laser conferences and is a member of a number of dermatology societies.

Dr Mehta has made a significant contribution to research and has published over 15 articles in scientific journals. He has received a number of awards during his career including the Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association and the Continuing Medical Education Award from the American Academy of Dermatology.
