Dr. Talakere Usha Kiran is a UK Trained Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist more than 25 years of experience. She in a expert in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery- can perform level 3/4 laparoscopic surgeries and hysteroscopic surgeries . She also is well trained in urogynaecology and performs pelvic floor repairs and minimal invasive surgeries for stress urinary incontinence.
She is a very experienced obstetrician and specialises in high risk pregnancy care and has been known for her successul vaginal deliveries after previous cesarean section.
She conducts her outpatient clinics at Prime Hospital and Prime Burjuman mall medical centre. She performs surgical procedures at both Prime Hospital and International modern hospital, Dubai.
Dr. Kiran earned her primary medical qualification at the Government Medical College, India, and later went on to complete her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Grant Medical College. Upon completion, she moved to the United Kingdom to undertake her gynaecological and surgical training at the Welsh Deanery. She then gained membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and went on to gain her Certificate of Completion of Specialist training in 2006, and was appointed Consultant at the Aneurin Bevan Trust. During this appointment, Dr. Kiran went on to become the Head of Research and Development for her department, and also became a level 3 minimal access surgeon specialising in high-risk stage 4 endometriosis and fibroid removal,
Dr. Kiran was then awarded a fellowship in Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgery with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists, during which she also gained knowledge and expertise in colposcopy, urogynaecology, transvaginal ultrasound, and also in the treatment of infertility. Dr. Kiran remained as a Consultant in the UK for 20 years before joining Prime Hospital, Dubai.
