Associate Professor Homayoun (Homi) Zargar is a Urological Surgeon with specialist fellowship training in urological oncology and advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. A/Prof Zargar is New Zealand trained and has been based in Melbourne since 2015. He completed his medical degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2002 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.
He is a Consultant Urologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Wetern health and A/Prof at the Department of Surgery at the University of Melbourne. He also sees private patients at Epworth Richmond Hospital and consults at Kew Urology, Western Urology, Epworth (Richmond) and Holmesglen Hospital.
A/Prof Zargar is a strong advocate for patient centred care and is known for creating quality therapeutic relationships with his patients with the aim of improving their health journey. He provides comprehensive care for all urological cancers, including Kidney, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer. He also has expertise in the treatment and management of general urological conditions including benign prostate enlargement, kidney stones, elevated PSA levels and blood in urine.
